Earlier this month we brought you a varied package of new artists, today we add another 6 party gems.
It's a pleasure to introduce Ibibio Sound Machine, a London collective that excels in disco and afrobeat, on Saturday 27/6. This last genre is of course the trademark of Seun Kuti, the youngest son of afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, whose Egypt 80 orchestra will also join the fun. Christopher Martin will heat things up with his trademark soulful dancehall vibes.
On Sunday 28/6 we welcome the Angolan kuduro talent Pongo, the ultra-hip future trap and jazz wonder IAMDDB and Cuban funk phenomenon Cimafunk. Again a wide range of talent to spice up the 31st Couleur Café line-up. Take a look at all 25 announced acts here and expect plenty more soon.
